​​This work, Poetic, is an attempt to recreate and find a sense of memory and longing. A house is a space where you can relax, feel the warmth, and interact with friends and family members. The images of windows in a series and Korean letters portray my deep attachment to my home. The warm color and repeating motifs give a sense of comfort and rhythm. The texts are used as a line to add texture and connect abstract images together. The rotated texts invite the viewers to physically engage with the piece by encouraging them to move their eyes around and tilt their heads.
